Farm & Food Care Saskatchewan is hosting their annual conference on Cultivating Trust. This year’s theme is “Assessing the Opportunities”. The one-day event will be held in person on Feb. 8, 2024, in Saskatoon at the Delta Hotels Bessborough. This event will bring people together from across the agricultural spectrum, from crops and livestock to horticulture and poultry production, as well as large and small-scale farms, agribusinesses, researchers, and government.
We are pleased to welcome a slate of fantastic speakers for 2024:
Joel Peru, Director of Irrigation Development for Saskatchewan’s Water Security Agency, will give an overview of the Lake Diefenbaker irrigation project
A panel of producers and policymakers will discuss the implications for this mega-project for different ag sectors and communities in our province
Communications professional Lauren Sergy will provide keynote presentation on how we can work collaboratively to connect with consumers and build trust in in our industry
A speaker from Canada’s tourism industry will provide a perspective from the tourism sector—how building consumer trust has been critical for rebuilding Canada’s hospitality industry and what we can learn from this experience
